During this five-day round trip excursion between Whitehorse and Dawson City, you will have the chance to relive this extraordinary adventure that was the gold rush. You will immerse yourself in the magic of the Yukon landscapes by flooting down the Yukon River in our well-equipped Pelly River type boat, kayaking or canoeing around the islands and the creeks along the River, admiring, depending on the seasons and opportunities, the Yukon wildlife, fishing along the Yukon River banks, savouring a delicious meal prepared by your guide around the campfire and discovering historic sites only accessible by boat.
In Dawson City, you will experience the Yukon history and way of life. During this unforgettable day, you will have the opportunity to visit several museums and historic sites recounting the gold rush, try your luck panning for gold, or enjoy the nightlife in this amazing Northern community.
On the way back, you will take the Klondike Highway in a camper truck driven by your guide and discover the Yukon nature and history, following in the footsteps of the gold seekers. You will camp along the legendary Dempster Highway, under the midnight sun, and drive at your chosen speed towards Whitehorse, stopping to admire the Five Finger Rapids, visit the Montague Road House or hike.
Our experienced guides will treat you like V.I.P.’s, as the number of participants is limited to two persons or two adults and one child. This allows you to enjoy, as a couple or a family, the comfort of the camper truck and the boat, and choose among all the suggested activities. With your guide, you decide on the sequence of your trip and you allocate time depending on your likings and pace.
