You will arrive in Dawson City on Wednesday morning, the third day of your trip, by camper truck on the Klondike Highway or by boat on the Yukon River. You will spend a full day here. In Dawson City, capital of the Klondike region, you will experience the Yukon history and way of life. Visits and activities are endless. You will discuss your likings with your guide and he will advise you on how to make this day an unforgettable one.

Visit the famous Dredge No.4:
the largest wooden hull, bucket line dredge in North America.
Visit the Commissioner’s Residence: a magnificent house - symbol of the prosperous era of the gold rush at the beginning of the 1900’s. Robert Service’s Cabin (1874-1958), the "bard of the Yukon", and Jack London’s Cabin and Interpretation Centre.
Visit the Dawson Historical Complex National Historic Site of Canada.
You can visit this complex that retraces the daily life at the time of the gold rush at your own pace or take part in a guided tour offered to you. Visit the S.S. Keno:
the famous sternwheeler that plied the interior waters of the Yukon for almost 60 years.
Try your hand at gold panning in one of the most famous streams of the Klondike. Visit the Discovery Claim:
it is here, in August 1896, that "Siwash" George W. Carmack, Skookum Jim and Tagish Charlie found gold that set off the 1898 Klondike Gold Rush.
Visit the Old Territorial Administration Building which now houses the Dawson City Museum.
The museum hosts seven galleries: discover tusks and remains of prehistoric mammoths; learn about the Tr’ondek Hwech”in First Nation, or discover why Dawson City was known as “the Paris of the North”.
Discover the Sourtoe Cocktail.
If you are adventurous enough, you can taste the world famous cocktail at the Sourdough Saloon. Under the midnight sun, you will have the chance to enjoy Dawson City’s night life by joining locals at one of the friendly bars and listening to music from a local band. You could also try your luck at Diamond Tooth Gertie’s Gambling Hall, the only casino in the Yukon. Finally, you could use this day to shop and bring back a souvenir from this mythical city.
At the end of the evening, if you go back by camper truck, your guide will bring you camping on the hill known as "Midnight Dome" overseeing Dawson City and the surroundings, or at the Tombstone campground on the Dempster Highway, your choice! If you leave by boat, you will sail a few kilometres, then set up a comfortable camp and spend the night under the tent on the banks of the Yukon River.
